The latest business like this is Rodan & Fields. Supposedly a lot of women are making some serious money because they got in early but at some point it levels off.

Rodan Fields is weird as shite. The way these girls interact is very cultish. Look at how they talk about the company on Facebook, it's weird.

bayoulsu82 Is Selling Mary Kay a Pyramid Scheme? Bob stoops wife sells it (national sales director). I've heard she makes more than him.

National Sales Directors with Mary Kay are absolutely rolling in it - like 7 figures rolling.

It is unreal how much money comes your way the higher up the ladder you go in that organization.

Do you have to put up any money for training or supplies? That's usually the dead giveaway of a pyramid scheme.

When people are trying to sell products to you and recruit you as a sales person at the same time, that = pyramid scheme, MLM, whatever you want to call it. Saturate the market with the product, charge $100+ for the "starter kit" for all the supplies you need to do parties/demos, and somebody profits big. Not you, though.

Primerica insurance is another one. A guy sold me some insurance (overpriced, I might add) and then tried to recruit me. Glad I didn't bite.

It was said earlier in the other thread. If you have to ask....there is a 95% chance that it is.

Oh great, buy a bunch of product to get started. If you sell it all consistently, you can sell to other Mary Kay newbs and not worry about selling stuff yourself. Just a cleverly disguised pyramid with a bunch of pink cars given out for the biggest used car salesman of the bunch

My set is over 25 years old and never been sharpened. I do need to find a Vector kid, it's time for Cutco to replace these with new ones.
