The test and assignments never end

What say the multi-millionaires of the OT?

You'll get differing opinions. I would say school is worse.

Depends on what you do for a living after school is done.

No one is going to fire you from school if you don't do it right.

Yes. I could dig post holes and build fence all day as a teenager.

Hate sitting in class, reading power points, writing papers

No. School is about theory and practice. Work is about doing. You are responsible for people's livelihoods and the success/failure of your enterprise.

It depends on what you are doing, I guess.

Depends on your job

School is probably more stressful than the entry level job you'll get when you graduate

As with many question,s the answer is "it depends".

What school are you talking about? What major? What job are you currently in?

My job is pretty damn stressful, but nothing compares to bullshite of school. At least with a stressful job, you can swallow it with the understanding you're getting paid. School is just a 4 year stretch of "can you bare through it". And Mechanical Engineering is no slouch (no brag).

Yes, they do...and then you have to join the workforce and do a never-ending job 'til you retire. Work deadlines kind of take the place of tests and assignments.

If you work at something you truly enjoy, then the stress doesn't seem as bad when you feel like you've accomplished something. Unfortunately most people don't find jobs they love 100% of the time.

It was for me. I still have the skipped-every-class-and-realize-I-have-a-final-exam nightmare. It wasn't so much school by itself, but the fact that I also had to earn my own money at the same time. My career has high points of stress (like the all-nighter I'm going to pull tonight), but without the added obligation of school.
