in response to 4 lane Staring Lane finally going to 45 mph
That area’s newly elected councilwoman, Barbara Freiberg, says she pushed for the increase after getting requests from residents there.
“The blood of the first dead child is on her hands,” Delgado said. “This is about a politician not having a backbone and telling people that she knows it is not popular, but it’s the right thing to do,” Delgado said of Freiberg.

We have SWB as our mayor. The bar could not possibly be much lower unless we elected Chokwe Antar Lumumba like Jackson did.

Actually the blood of the children will be on the grill of the vehicle.

I've driven up and down staring thousands of times for over 10 years and have never once seen any children playing. Dude is such a drama queen

There is way too much sineage on that road. Has anyone sober ever gone the wrong way?

So Staring is 4 lanes but 10 east is 1 lane at 110, makes sense

we built a bridge across the Mississippi in St Francisville before one south of BR and four laned South Harrells Ferry before Jones Creek, Old Hammond and much of O'Neal. Ain't nobody got time for logic 'round hea.

Ol Juan is prone to hyperbole. I member when he said St. George was the Taliban and when he said that barge cleaning facility wasn't going to spew poison at his daughter. I don't think he can help himself.

Four laning S Harrells Ferry and making it a five lane thourafare only to dead end at one of the most congested four lane roads in the city was crazy.

Yep. I drive it all of the time and it's nice but there were far bigger priorities. Hell, I live off of South Harrells Ferry near White Oak Landing and still thought it was dumb.

Right. Let's expand it where there's no businesses/schools and cut it off right before Runnels so you can sit behind 200 vehicles everyday at 3pm

I think there was a huge surplus of "Do not enter" signs, and it was use 'em or lose 'em.
