re: Is it weird for an adult to have a birthday party every year?

Is he on the spectrum? I am thinking he is and he doesn't even realize how this goes against social norms for someone his age and gender. His wife isn't helping but she probably is a little odd herself if she married a man who was living at home as a 30 year old.

We all just go to dinner with our friends on our birthdays, some bring gifts but usually just coming to dinner is enough. It is more of a reason for us to all get together than anything, gets harder to do the older we get.
