People childish enough to pull someone over for a middle finger shouldn't be cops.

Saying mean things to an officer of the law is perfectly fine and legally protected free speech, but you do it to me and you'll be in jail.

Well, I've had it happen. My spouse flipped off a Flowood cop(driving an unmarked suv like a maniac) and he wheeled around with lights flashing.

It was not a nice conversation.

Not illegal. Just make sure if you decide to flip off a cop that you have all your license, registration and insurance info with you and up to date

I hope your wife at least filed a complaint. Not that anything would actually happen to the cop, but it seems like a middle finger was warranted.

We are trained to always be one step ahead of an assailant. Violence comes after verbal threats, so I will meet verbal threats with violence in order to remain one step ahead of an assailant. You are free to say whatever you want, just be prepared to deal with the consequences of jail or worse.

Of course they would. How often would you say you perjure yourself on a weekly basis?

I mean they have to go to jail for probable cause of a crime and you seem to manufacture the crimes to ensure they have a bad day.

This little punk thinks he's being a Billy badass talking to you like that in the internet. You think he'd be a tough guy in real life when you slap that sass right or his mouth?

I promise you are not trained to explicitly state that you will retaliate violently if your feelings get hurt, would hate for someone to out you IRL and cause you to be unemployed.

I would recommend deleting this with a quickness and hope no one takes the time to do so.

I wouldn't consider it perjury. It's doing what's necessary to keep scum off the streets.

Leaving bachus one night I had a car full of drunk assholes. I'm driving the backway into Metairie. (Palmetto to met rd to west napoleon) right before causeway this white crown Vic proceeds to run a stop sign and almost hit me. My buddy whips out a one finger victory salute on him. Next thing you know I'm getting lit up. I had been drinking but didn't feel too bad. This cop in plain clothes comes up to the car drunk as hell. He admits to almost hitting me but that didn't give my buddy the right to flip him off. I guess his feelings were hurt. I told him you can talk to my buddy if you want. He didn't do shite. Let us go.

It is not illegal but the kind of power hungry a-hole who would react to a bird is going to "find" something to ruin your day.
