Impossible. That would have to be determined at the state level, and more often at the locality, and you won't even get a simple majority to agree on a number.

But I can tell you that I live in a cheap market for housing. A 2 bedroom apartment is at least a thousand bucks, and a 1600 sf house that was built 50 years ago is $250k. The shitboxes that DSLD is vomiting out on every empty piece of former floodland are $300k

you realize that this was a joke, right?

Roger would rather see a recession suppress wage growth and put unskilled workers in their place (the homeless shelter, I guess) than see the young folks that he hates so much succeed in the marketplace.

But Roger also likes to watch other dudes frick his woman, so there are many things that we don't see eye to eye on.

He has no woman. He's a loner on the outskirts of society being a mad old man on the internet. SAD!

The company I work for, a Fortune 500 company, is hiring an entry level position in their Houston area warehouse. It's a picker/puller position. Only high school degree required. No experience necessary.

Starting salary begins at $15/hr but candidate could negotiate for more depending on experience.

Benefits offered on Day 1 are 3 weeks PTO a year(it accrues from Day 1), Health insurance(medical/dental/vision), 401k with 6% company match, $300 fitness reimbursement annually, stock purchase option at 15% discount and at lowest price of the year, annual bonuses, big employee purchase discounts on cars(we have fleet purchasing prices with Chevy, Toyota, and Ford), HP computers, cell phone plans with At&T, etc etc

It's a good company in the medical field that isn't going anywhere. It's pretty much recession proof. Lots of room for advancement.

I've mentioned the opening to some twenty-something's I know and I've been asked if we're looking for felons at that starting wage? Posted on an online forum for the area and got the same responses. They said those are slave wages

These kids expect $25 hr+ to do menial tasks in an entry level warehouse position. I said what about the benefits? No care, it's all about their paycheck every 2 weeks.

One guy told me he can make $22 at Target. I told him he could, but he's not making 40 hrs a week there, his schedule will include nights and weekends, probably no paid PTO(certainly not 3 weeks), no health insurance, 401k etc. He said, yeah, but $22 hr.

Are these people retarded?

I'm a controller at a medium-sized firm, and we are trying to hire a few people. I tried to hire an AP Clerk, which required no bachelor's but asked for $75K. No experience. What a joke. Nowadays, I value benefits as much as I do the checks. Also, do you live on the West Coast or something, because there is no way Target is paying $22 an hour where I live (Kentucky), unless he's is a Senior Team Lead. Your company's benefits are better than our benefits; where can I get in on this?

Sorry incel, men used to have real women.

However, my swing partner was married to someone else. Korky is accustomed to paying trannies. He doesn't understand the voluntary thing.

You can't even define "leverage."

What were they doing before? You know you aren't forced to hire them right?

Oh sorry your "swing partner".

I should have known better than to think a woman would be with you for any length of time.

The fricking fast food places here are starting at $24/hr. You could swing a room in a 3 or 4 BR and be relatively okay, but a studio runs close to 2k. I have no idea how someone that isn't a professional or service industry worker in a nice place can afford to be around, unless they've been here a while and haven't had their rent raised.

Lets see I was married 17 years, with this married chick 3 years, now have been married again for 15 years.

So unlike you, I've actually touched a woman.

Progressives really get upset when you bash their little zoomer buddies.

Mc Donald here is $18 to start, more for experience. Its full of old Filipinos. They work hard.

If I'm looking for entry level workers, I'd start there. Filipinos assimilate very well, work hard, very family oriented.

I'm done hiring entry level white Americans. Had my fill.

1. You're a dock worker, you don't hire people.

Correct. I hire workers. They just happen to be people, but I have two self serve kiosks coming.

Better for me.

They stuff all the J1s three to a room in shoddily made employee housing if they offer it at all. Lots of construction folks here for shortish contracts just live in campers. There isn't nearly enough industry around here to justify housing costs - it's all either retirees, trusties, or foreign investors, I guess. The situation is unsustainable, I just have no clue when it'll get corrected.

My last year in tourism I hired a bunch of J-1s. Bulgaria, Moldavia and France.

The French girl lasted a week, I had to chase off the Bulgarians, they worked their asses off and wanted as many hours as possible.
