I prefer Port O Call and Yo Mama's. 5 guys is consistent in being a juicy burger but there is more to taste than just toppings.

Went once when it opened here because of all the hype. I didn't care for it and neither did my wife. We haven't been back. Red Robin has better burgers in my opinion.

Why would you even go to an actually Burger Joint if all you want is relish, ketchup, mayo, and lettuce? The idea of places like that is to get burgers that aren't on the kids menu.

As much as people talk it up, I was very underwhelmed when I finally tried it. Ok fast food style burger. That's about it.

Five Guys suck imo. Way way overpriced. And the fries taste like dirty. I'll never go back.

This x 100. If I want a burger with some fries, that should be a meal under ten bucks.
Besides, it's easy as hell to make a good burger. Just get good meat with kosher salt and black pepper. I like mine grilled using lump coal and a chunk of mesquite or hickory.

I can't believe this has gotten such negative response. I totally agree. It's nothing special. No unique / one of a kind flavors. Just fresh/hot food. That's GOOD, but I mean... I need something that sets it apart from things I can buy from the grocery store.

Never had In And Out but 5 Guys tastes bland to me. Meat tastes like they don't even bother seasoning it.

I'll let y'all in on a little secret on the fries. It isn't on the menu but you can ask them to cook the fries extra crispy. They'll leave them in the oil a little bit longer.
