To me, what stands out about a lot of short guys I know(remember, I'm short too) is their tendency to feel the need to remind you that they can do anything you can do.
Um, you never see a 6'3" guy doing that. If you're short like me, just do it. Let THEM notice and be surprised by what you can do, don't ASK them to notice. Even if not intentional, it is perceived as sort of sad.

As a short guy, I was sort of thinking the same thing.

Nope. I mean, obviously on a message board, you sort of have to tell people cause they don't know you.
But, for me, my kick is being in the gym and having a guy say, "whoa, didn't see that coming" or when I played baseball, same thing when I threw one from the hole at SS.
You can't run around saying, "look look look, I know I'm short but you ought to see me ..........."
First off, absent actually seeing you do it, no one believes you. Second, it's sad.

Eh, what's it really matter? Admitting I'm short, no matter what I said after, would make some people in this thread look down on me. I just went ahead and joined in on being a dick.

My prejudice is probably against tiny men. Note, I didn't say short, I said tiny.
As short guys go, I fall a lot closer to the Ray Rice end of short rather than the 120lb end of the spectrum(nowhere near as big as him, but ya know what I mean).
Even for taller guys, when I see a guy that looks like he's never lifted more than a Playstation controller, I have sort of a knee jerk negative reaction.
IE, if you're 6' 135, I'm probably looking down on ya.

Hence the reason I said it like I did. If I claimed to be a good athlete I would have been questioned by many, so I provided a bit of background. (The more successful in life comment was tongue-in-cheek).
When I meet new people, it's not like I say "Hey, My name is *. I'm a better athlete and make more money than you do."
