Batman is just a rich guy w/ lots of gadgets, no superpowers. Therefore, no he's not a superhero.

Simply a hero or vigilante

Yes,
because he's Batman!

Having superpowers is not a necessity for being a superhero. Look in both the DC and Marvel universes. A large percentage of the heroes don't have superhuman abilities.

Why would superman need coffee. The caffeine probably wouldn't even affect him.

Consider... Bruce Wayne himself is not a superhero, but Batman is, in the same way that Tony Stark is not a superhero, but Iron Man is. In both instances, their intelligence and wealth have allowed them to create suits and gadgets that give them abilities exceeding those of a human--arguably, abilities which are "super" human. So the question becomes whether the definition of "superhero" necessarily requires supernatural abilities vs. superhuman. And drawing the distinction between superhuman and supernatural may be difficult if you consider the technology that Batman and Iron Man have used.

Now now now, without Superman, there is no way that Batman would even exist. He's the superhero that started it all and led to Wonder Woman, Hulk, Spiderman, Captain America, Green Lantern, etc to existence as inspiration.
Just one reason why Superman is tGOAT.

It's a social ritual.
