Nah because that would rob us from that epic graphic in the OP. That spiral is fantastic stuff.

Neither! It's a sign of stupidity. The marriage doesn't last very long in most cases.

Sign of strength is when you are in an open relationship and your wife is not.

live your own life, however uptight, righteous and fearful it might be.

Your fear is out for all to see.

I think Newt's wife should have given him permission.

But that is not an open marriage. Just one other person, in a kind of committed relationship. He married that person.

I can see why people are so reactive to rebel oke.
He stirs up things.

I'll bite at this apple from somewhat of personal experience

Last girl I was seriously dating (she was ready to apply for her doctorate and move in in the fall) brought this up to me. Her analysis was "I get bored with people. It isn't that I don't have a great time with you, but I don't want to end up at a point where I get bored and want a divorce." She was honest about it up front, so it was obviously better than going from a "closed" one to an "open" one, but not something I would ever consider. I told her that, and instead of understanding when I basically said we were done, she started to send me more articles on how monogamy is failed.

So it isn't for me, but she made it clear up front at least that she never thought a traditional marriage was for her. She thinks you can absolutely separate sex from love. She wanted the title of marriage because she thinks kids shouldn't grow up not knowing their parents are married

Why she is my ex haha. I couldn't fathom in any way sitting at the dinner table as she is making plans with another dude and I'm babysitting the kids. Just seemed way too weird for me.

She was really hot too (former model), but she failed on the hot/crazy scale after that one sadly

What a low IQ argument
I made an observation not an argument. Dunce.

When our kids were in diapers, it was quickies all the time and became major boring shite.

After a few months, I was getting pissed, so we had a talk. That talk led to us talking about sex alot, many nights and finding out what we liked and how we liked it.

Oh, man. I'm no longer bored or pissed.

She was the closest thing to a sex fiend I'd ever met. As we were long distance even from the start, the first 4 weekends we only had intercourse 2 of those weekends. She got mad we didn't have it the other 2, even though she was on her period in one and sick the other. WTF am I supposed to do

Yea I'm happier now, even if she was hot

It's fricking dysfunctional at best, abusive to all those affected typically.

And the Hot Wife thing.......pathetic. It's on par with the mental make up of a psychopath, and any man who condones it with children involved should be strung up. Puke.
