For a 2006 F150 super crew loaded? Sale price $11k.

I'd be nervous about blowing spark plugs.

I wouldn't pay that much... Do you plan on having it three years?
On second thought, I wouldn't buy it.

check out Texas Direct Auto
You can grab a 2012 with 30k miles for like 20 on there
that is too many miles for me to even consider buying it

What if I can talk him down to 9000ish?

That is a lot of miles.
Even if you decide to buy it, you better bring it to a fantastic mechanic to have him check it out.
I would recommend either Ross Tire in Central or AGCO Automotive off Coursey.

Sale price $11k.
Unless there is a lot of coke in the vehicle, you're paying too much.

What's the blue book price?
Definitely check this and not all miles are the same.
150K of highway miles, the truck maintained correctly doesn't equal 60K of city driving or farm work. 11K does sound a little high but check the net for other vehicles with similar mileage.

for a toyota this is about the point where its past its breaking-in period.

Ehh...if the truck has new tires, battery, no accident history, good options, that isn't crazy money. 4X4, too.
I wouldn't be a player, though. I can't stand the motor in that truck.

I'd rather carry a note on the 12 that dude mentioned than pay 10Kish for an 8 year old unit with that type of mileage.

Yeah, way too much money for that truck with that many miles. Wouldn't take a chance on it myself.

Type of miles also factors in.
Off road checking oil wells ects. (Bad)
All road miles (not bad)
