I have a friend who was a teenager in communist Yugoslavia. the stories he tells are all I need to know about how life was truly like on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain.

Would you want to live in China today? Their system is communism2.0....Imagine what the OG's of communism were like.

A hard read on the subject is The Third Reich at War by Richard Evans. One German officer describes an incident where he was leading a group of Jews to a pit for execution when a young child reached up and took his hand as if he was leading her for a walk. He walked her to the edge of the pit and with the others executed them.

I'm not sure the USSR was "awesome" but we've also been fed decades of propaganda.

I'm sure everyone loved the USSR. Those that were left, of course. You know, after Stalin had all dissidents starved and murdered.

Capitalism is the greatest tool for bringing people out of poverty that the world has ever seen. Communism is a failed idea that is trying to now manifest itself as a cultural movement that seeks to bring destruction to capitalism and the very foundational pillars of Western Society.

There's a reason why the vanguard didn't rise all around the world during The Great War. It's because capitalism was benefitting millions of people in the west. And when the Frankfurt School was founded and the ideas of Critical Theory came to head, it was only then that the West truly saw how terrible communism can be.

So fine, believe the USSR's and communism's horribleness to be propaganda. Willfully choose to ignore the plight and wretchedness it caused millions of people worldwide. Ignore the death and destruction it caused.

How many do you figure Zyklon-B killed? (Or were the Nazis just helping the poor, dirty Joos out by delousing them?)

I'm sure it killed a shite ton of lice, which was an epidemic in Europe during that time.

Why do you think the Nazi's shaved the heads of all the labor workers? Would it make since to take time shaving everyone of them if you're just going to "gas" them 5 minutes later?

Not going to argue the USSR was great , it wasn't, Russia today isn't great for that matter, but everything falls eventually. The US could have been forever fractured 85 years into its existence in the civil war, everything is corruptible, everything is corrupted

Yeah I'm sure hydrogen cyanide killed a little bit more than lice. They don't try people for war crimes then subsequently execute them for distributing delousing agents.

Agreed. Go read some Milton Friedman, if you disagree with capitalism. I've also read Communist Manifesto. Communism is greed and deceit at its highest level.
