tahoe's typically don't hold up well. Hopefully you will keep loving yours, but odds and all....
Huh?
I had a 2008 Avalanche (basically a Tahoe) and put over 200k on it over five years and bought a new gas cap for it other than tires & brakes.

Didn't have to replace any exterior door handles? They must have not been the chrome ones.

Make sure it doesn't have the CVT.
My brother warned me, and we dodged the QX60 and the jx35 for that reason. Check into the "juddering" issue and you'll find a poorly handled flaw with a class action lawsuit.
If it has a geared transmission, you're all good.

Wife has a QX56 and it is a very nice ride. Have three kids in the back and we make trip from Houston back to BR and to Florida every year without any space problems or complaints.

Gas mileage is a bitch

Infinity is the luxury product of Nissan so the two are virtually the same. It all depends on whether or not you want to spend extra money for the extras.

Doing some more research this morning.

You telling me this big bastard has less front leg room, and 1 inch more leg room in the back over the Explorer? And it gets 14 mpg?

Yeah she can keep the explorer

Have you looked into the QX60? My wife went from a Tahoe to the QX60 and she loves it. Still has the 3rd row with easy access with two car seats. Gets about 21 MPG also.

Chrome were standard on the LTZ for a few years. Everybody I knew with A Denali , Escalade, LTZ suburban, Tahoe or Avalanche from like 07-08 had to replace at least 1 chrome door handle. They just came off in your hand.

Yes also looking at the QX60/FX35/Pathfinder now that the gas guzzler isn't any bigger than the Explorer we already have.

I can't speak of the new model Armada but if you are tall, be sure to check the headroom in the back. I'm 6'3" and felt like my head pop through the ceiling while riding in my friend's Armada.
