Incoming complaint time wife’s edition

I’ve been wanting homemade ice cream since Fathers Day….i actually bought an ice cream maker off Amazon for Murica Day -
I decided to make one batch tonight- it was a really basic recipe (half/Half- Milk- sweet condensed milk and vanilla extract) …
My wife (no photos) tasted it and decided she needed to fix it…it wasn’t sweet enough or didn’t have enough vanilla extract
So…she added vanilla (I’m ok with this one …it didn’t NEED it but meh) but the part that irritates me …she added salt???
Mind you/ this was AFTER the machine stopped spinning
Of course - it’s now too salty (underscore…who puts salt in ice cream) …so her now remedy - add sprinkles or chocolate to add sweetness
Why can’t she just leave it?? (Yes- I’ve been giving her hell but i decided to vent here too)

Ice cream should have a pinch or two of salt, but at the beginning.
You really can’t “fix” homemade ice cream. Everything needs to be on at the start or it won’t mix well.
But if you are complaining about it, it sounds like she put a LOT of salt. Or you are being a whiny git.
