Incident at Tiger Paw on Coursey this evening

We went around 7 to get some sandwiches for dinner.
Our party included our young children and grandparents.
As we were waiting for our food, we saw three people playing pool. Two guys and one girl.
We hear a scream, look up and see one of the guys beating the shite out of the girl with a pool stick. Over and over.
Someone from our table jumps up and runs over yelling at the guy to stop.
Our young son says he wishes he was bigger and stronger so he could help the lady.
The girl runs out the door.
The owner follows her outside.
The person at our table who ran over to stop the beating then walks outside to check on the girl.
The owner continues to talk to her.
The guys continue to play pool.
The girl leaves.
We wonder why the guy is still allowed to be in the building. The person who ran over to stop the beating asks the owner this question.
The owner says "the girl verbally assaulted him".
And the guy who beat the lady with a pool stick so loud we heard it through the glass wall is allowed to keep playing pool.
Our son (who wishes he could have helped) wonders why the bad guys are allowed to remain and possibly hurt others...and will eventually come to his own conculsions.
We were so disgusted we left.

They have great food and we have been eating there for years with no problems.
Its also on Coursey boulevard...not North Baton Rouge or even a somewhat sketchy area of town.
