It seems that New Orleans is accepted as the most humid city because of its elevation but I can't seem to find a definitive ranking of the most humid states. For me it's a toss up between Louisiana and Mississippi

South Florida, and it's not even close.

Damn, look at all these down votes from people who have never lived anywhere other than Louisiana. I'm absolutely shocked. I understand stand that Nola smells and feels like you're living in a dumpster, but guys take the whole city/state pride thing a little too seriously.

In the swamp, sure. The coastal areas at least have enough of a breeze.

This may be true on average, but the most humid days in Louisiana and Mississippi felt way more miserable than anything I've experienced in Florida

That sea breeze though.

South Georgia is hell. But I can't say the rest of you should agree its the worse, I don't consider myself qualified to answer.

Since they took down the statues. We tried to give them to Mississippi, but they didnt want them. Alabama wanted them, but Nola declined.

Yeah perhaps inland FLA but def not anywhere within 30 miles of the Atlantic/Gulf Coast Florida. I lived in the panhandle for years and Baton Rouge is 1000x more humid than that.

Louisiana, but I haven't spent much time inland in other Southern states.

That's because you don't get the benefit of sea breezes in Mississippi and Louisiana like you do in Florida.

North Florida is typically more humid than south Florida. Here is today as an example

Places that are a little inland like Marianna and Tallahassee get brutally hot and humid
