No offense, but you really need to go back and re-read your post. It's extremely confusing.

I'm not judging you or your dad. Scotch can deaden the pain, though.

I gave up coke zero eight days ago and feel wonderful. I wish I had done it years ago!

Well, depends...
It can be, but if it's got a bunch of sugar or flavoring not so much

Yeah there's all kinds of studies highlighting the benefits of tea and coffee.

If someone drank a lot of iced green tea, black coffee, water, and skim milk, they'd most likely be a very healthy person.

Imagine if people didn't try and advocate their food and drink habits.

I drink like 2 Barq's root beers a year with a shrimp po-boy. Been that way for almost four years. Before that I was drinking around four or five diet cokes a day. Went from 195 to 170 in about six months. Added exercise and a better diet since then and weigh 156 now.

I drink black coffee, green tea and water during the day. Have not cut back on alcohol at all. Soft drinks are just terrible for you.

I heard there's a study that a daily mixture of a healthy diet and moderate exercise results in a person most likely being healthy. Sorry, no link.

Well that's bullshite. I think I remember reading somewhere that it's almost equally as hard to stop drinking soft drinks as it is to quit smoking.

If you really care about your health you'd give up the beer and coffee as well.
