Who cares. It is an awesome pic and I'm glad he shared it with this motley crew of misfits, and wannabes. One of the best photos I've seen that encapsulates Louisiana, and it's true support of its fighting people. Well done Chris!!!

I expect nothing more from a plainsman/tiger/war eagle, or whatever y'all will be next week. There are certain things that you do not joke about. This is one of those things.
I never met one of my grandfather's because he lost his life in Germany, and my other grandfather was a shell of himself bc he went in the second wave at Omaha beach as a corpman patching people up, and having to decide who was able to be saved and who just had to die.

It's no disrespect meant and was simply messing with another poster.
Plenty of people here have family ties to what those flags represent including me, but I can separate the fact that joking on a message board does not take away any from what those flags stand for. Don't be such a sensitive nancy.

If (for debating purposes) I wanted to produce and sell this image or a newspaper/magazine sees it on my Flickr acct and offers me money for it, you see that as wrong? You see it as me profiting off the deaths of fallen soldiers?
You just making shite up now. If this was taboo, every magazine and news show that shows funerals, etc of fallen soldiers would have to stop, because they are making profits from advertisers.

I went to the top the other day (Friday) and took some great pics.
The kids wanted to see the bullet holes (apparently they just learned about Huey P in school). We also went to the top, and visited the museum across the street.
