How on this beautiful earth can you tear down a statue in dedication to one of the finest Americans that ever walked the blessed country?

It smacks every American, Union or Confederate, man that fought in the worst war this country has ever undergone.

Love that documentary. I love sitting in front of the TV on a Sunday and watching it. Damn shame that all this liberal bullshite has destroyed a PAST that made this country stronger and we learned to get along from this past. Whatever they are running out of excuses now. Anyway great watch anytime

speaking of..... I just passed by the monument and grave site of Nathaniel Bedford Forrest.

I'm glad Memphis doesn't have a pussy mayor like New Orleans.

I thought David McCullough was the narrator.

Perhaps I'm missing something.

I try not to think about those statues - it's just damn disappointing. The way the whole monkey screwing a football situation was handled. People who were never offended were suddenly offended because the damn mayor told them they should be offended

First you revision history, then you huddle together with a few other revisionist historians, then you cry and get a tv camera in from of you, THEN you tear down history.

Ignorance is always lauded as the main ingredient to prejudice, yet it is ignorance that has expedited the statue's removal. It's sad.
