If you traveled back in time to say the 1700’s in the US, how useful would you be?

You would know about all of the modern inventions we have now, but would you be able to properly explain them and recreate them?

Like firearms. Would you be able to explain to them how to build a bullet instead of a musket ball and a semi-auto rifle or pistol?

Could you explain any electrical devices we have and help develop them?

What about medical and health info?

Ask Nate Bargatze.

He has a great answer.

I’d put a screeching halt to the slave trade.

I could make some badass PowerPoints for them showing them how to use Excel.

The exploration of the natural bush country would be an exciting sensory experience.

I would be very useful and probably enjoy life more and have a much better relationship with God.

I wouldn't do anything with technology, or weaponry. I would take 1700 technology and improve it, not create new technologies, health and medical aside. That I would improve. I would seek out the smartest people and help them research and invent

I’ve actually thought about this. We generally think we are so smart and so much more advanced than them, but in reality we rely so much on technology that we’d be pretty useless.

For example, even a brilliant ER doctor wouldn’t be much help in an emergency situation without the benefit of all of the tools and meds in the ER.

Peter Attia said the greatest thing you could do to change the course of history if you went back in time with all the knowledge you have now is simply sanitation.

Medically, maybe a little. Invention of penicillin, smallpox vaccine. Of course, I would probably be beheaded as some kind of heretic.

I'd revolutionize the old accounting world. I'm not sure why we'd need high end carried interest waterfall calculations, but they'd be provided.

Just for shits & giggles

What is toothpaste made out of?

How would you explain how to make toilet paper?

Man, could you imagine if you had all the tech we have and it work to show them? They'd think you'd be a God.
