If you miss your exit or turn

Do you go to the next light or exit?
I just throw the car into reverse and back up to where I missed the exit.
If I'm in the wrong lane for my turn, I wait until the light to turn and cut across all lanes of traffic and proceed through the turn lane. I give all the honking people a nice wave and a shrug.

Guys it would be more dangerous and cause more traffic if I go on a street or exit I'm unfamiliar with and have to try to navigate my way back.
It's better for everyone if I just go my favorite way to get to my destination.

especially speeders on short trips
If you are going 20 mph faster than you are supposed to you have to drive and hour to save more than a couple of minutes.
