On the day of my wedding (at 24 years old), my father told me, "Son...you've got a good car and a full tank of gas. You can be halfway to Alaska before she even knows you're gone".

He was wise beyond his years.

Take school more seriously.

Oddly enough, I'm of the opposite mindset. Granted, being heads down focused on school is never a bad thing, but I feel like I missed out on a lot of good times in college by being too focused on doing well and keeping my parents happy. I cut literally like 2 classes my entire collegiate career.

1. Save up all the money I got for birthdays and such
2. Use said money to buy Microsoft stock when it goes public
3. Do better in school.
4. Join the National Guard
5. After doing my time in the Guard, finish college then run for office
6. Start buying land around Haynesville
7. Once Apple gets down to around $10/share, but the bleeding shite out of it
7. Take my extra money and do some venture capital investing in a young company called Google
8. Enjoy the rest of my life

Can't really complain if there were things I wanted to do in life I did them. Probably only thing I'd do different is buy a motorcycle earlier than I did and I'd have joined the Army the day after graduating high school instead of wasting a year hanging around.

Considering that my kids would not exist if I wiped the slate clean, I will pass.

If we're talking parallel universes where this life would continue and I could just reset from a fixed point in time, then yes.

Yes, I really thought graduating magna cum laude would make a difference in my life. But once I got my first real job, I doubt anyone cared anymore. I should have also majored in something more marketable.

I could have enjoyed LSU much more without trying to get all As and without dragging my crappy stick in the mud college boyfriend around like an albatross.

But my life now is pretty awesome so I guess all's well that continues well.

Majored in a different field for undergrad. Granted things in my life are more stable now that I switched university fir grad school. However I wish I was a better decisions maker a few years ago

Would not have gotten married. I look back on that 10 years of my life with mostly sadness.

Also wish I had gone into the military.
