Move to the farm. Rasie cows, chickens and horses. Stock 2 ponds with catfish. Have a nice garden with plenty of vegetables. Live off the land and be as self sustaining as possible.

Watch movies
Learn to cook
Photography
Learn an instrument
Learn another language
Fish
Hit the trails on a mountain bike
Visit family often

I want to pull off a heist. Maybe disappear and find an island and a boat and grow a beard and fish and drink scotch and wine and write things that get published after I'm dead

I did this for several years before I started a career. Except it was skiing because snowboarding wasn't invented. Mono boarding was though and 2 people did it.

I am not officially retired nor will I ever be but I do what I want, when I want. As I get older time is spent on the farm but that's what I like. A sister, close in age, spends most of her time in Manhattan going to the theater or in Japan with her kids or Italy with friends drinking wine. I think all do whatever they like but the question is, can you really retire? When? Will your health allow you to live as you dream?
