if women can abort their children, why can't men opt out of parenthood?

i.e. child support.

if the man doesn't want the kid, I do not think it is right that he is forced into paying for it for 18 years. just another example of female privilege.

I always thought you could sign away your rights. Pretty much the other parent takes full responsibilities and you will never see your child again

That has to be agreeable for both parties (or the state if they're involved). A guy can't just opt out willy nilly. If the other party (woman) says no, then you're staying the father until a court says otherwise. Either you're paying child support or you're paying a lawyer.
