It would be a terrible incident just like in France. You don't carry handguns into football games, you don't carry ak-47s into concert halls. This is a ridiculous question.

I carry on a pretty regular basis, not to mention my vehicle has enough power to get me out of most conceivable situations.

Y'all are acting like the only thing to have a concealed weapon for is to attack the terrorists.

I'm going to get me and my family out by any means necessary. Having a weapon gives you a lot better shot at exiting that situation alive.

There's no definite right or wrong answer for the OP question. There are situations where it has been proven to advantageous to have a concealed weapon, and there are instances where the armed citizen hit other civilians.

As for me, I'm going to carry and prepare the best I can. I'll die with my finger on the trigger before I die helpless.

The conceal carry crowd keeps saying it would prevent them but how many of them are trained to engage in a proper fire fight.

They might be packing but once the bullets start flying they might curl up and freeze. Classic fight or flight.

I'm not saying Billy and buddies ride down the street shooting shotguns would have prevented an attack. The southeast has a larger number of people who own/use guns. To say that the possibility of concealed carries couldn't hinder an attack is ignorant.

You are being ignorant to the fact that a whole bunch of people packing with no training or real experience in a fire fight could turn out to be useless or cause more damage.

Some people who come off to be the most badass tough guys curl up when the bullets start flying.

The odds of a whole bunch of combat vets carrying in a situation like that won't be that high.

You with a glock solo can only do so much when completely out maned and out gunned.

8 or 12 men with auto ak47s, body armor, suicide vests, bombs, and grenades would do the same in anytown, usa.

Yep, this has nothing to do with gun control or some idea of cowardly French people. This is a 100% Muslim problem. I want to say more but I fear the Banhammer.

I thought about your post for a long time. Once I saw you had 72 down votes, I decided to respond.

I am old enough to remember about race relations in the 1950's. It was illegal for blacks to date whites. There was segregated seating in movie theaters and on public transportation. Schools were segregated. There were separate eating and sleeping facilities. I remember the "White only" and "Colored only" signs.

It has been 50 years since The Civil Rights Act and The Voting Rights Act were passed. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

I suspect you are not old enough to have experienced true racism.

I am in no way responsible for anything that happened 150 years ago. And I will never, ever apologize for anything that happened then.

I truly am interested in why you think there is rampant racism today in this country.

Please respond.

They'd pick a place where there aren't a lot of gun owners. Probably somewhere in the Northeast. Certainly not in Dallas or Nashville.

Looking at Minnesota, we won't honor the terrorist victims in fear of offenong someone as they are now refusing to honor the fallen of 9-11.

So, under this regime? We'll probably send at LEAST 8-15 boots on the ground to wage war on anyone that isn't a Muslim that IS a bad guy...

Would the outcome be like the one in France where 100+ are killed? Or would the fact a lot of people conceal carry help stop the attack before it got that far?

Are you kidding me? Have you ever seen "security" at an LSU football game? 12 guys could very easily kill 2k or more people with suicide bombs and automatic weapons and it wouldn't even be a challenge.

Typifies the absurdity/stupidity of this thread. They'd pick a place where people can't carry guns like a bar, concert venue, or stadium. Same result no matter what region of the country you're in.
