Likely water filter.

Or just crapped out icemaker

Easy fix, part likely less than $100

I bought the extended warranty on my whirlpool. They sent service out 3 times to try to fix the icemaker. Finally the service tech said frick it, I'm putting you in for a new one.

Ok,I checked and it is getting water. Thinking about changing the filter, it was changed in December.

i would start by replacing the tubing/feed line. And change the filter. Sounds to me like something is plugged up.

The ice is full size. If the line was half blocked I was thinking maybe the ice cubes would be smaller.

Unplug it, wait 20 seconds, plug it in

Works 9/10 of the time

Make sure actual freezer temp is at least zero degree's... temperature control dial may have inadvertently been bumped up..

If you have the owner's manual, that would illustrate how to set temperature...otherwise Google instruction manual for that model number or call 1-800-ge cares..they may be able to walk you thru it..I doubt unplugging overnight will make a difference...unplug for 5 minute's should accomplish same thing... I would go thru these steps before paying $129 service call...

If the freezer temperature is above 10 degrees Fahrenheit (-12C), the ice maker will not produce ice cubes efficiently. The freezer temperature should be set between 0 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 to -15C) for the ice maker to work properly. If the freezer temperature is too high, ensure that the condenser coils are clear of debris and the condenser fan is working properly. In addition, check to see if frost has accumulated on the evaporator coils. If the evaporator coils are frosted over, part of the defrost system has likely failed.

Have you actually taken the ice reservoir out and looked into it? mine recently was doing that and I found that there was a damn big clump of ice in it taking up about half of the space...

Lol, or ask at Appliancejunk or appliantology.
That's where I go when stuck.

On vacation now, just checking what's up with local news.
Like others said, check filter, if not that likely inlet valve is busted.
Was I paged other times this week? Idk I can't really joxy my name.

Jesus, I wish I could charge $129 for a service call, I would ball hard.
Is that what big blue is charging now?
Independents like myself are half that.

Read the thread. Being it's a Ge, I would suspect a bass icemaker.
Or your freezer is not maintaining a temperature of less than 17 degrees.
