While Adam Knapp is being interviewed about Baton Rouge's traffic fubars. You can't get any luckier than that.

I saw a picture of the traffic backed up and it looks like it was on a straight piece of interstate. How exactly does this happen time and time again?

I wish I could take the Interstate again. Back roads have too many lights that aren't synced.

Heading to work this am saw i12 was closed and tried 190, it was backed all the way past walker just turned around and went back home. Will wait til about 10 and try again.

I watched a three car pileup happen last week across from me on I-10 East while coming back from lunch. Traffic was stacked up (as usual) and crawling. I'd almost guarantee that one or more of the cars involved were texting, either that or their low IQ didn't process the data that cars in front of them were stopping. Combine the two, and viola, daily wrecks.

People on their phones and not paying attention to the traffic around them.
Like I said a while back.. If people just paid attention, 99% of the world's problems would be solved.
