I witnessed a hit and run on Highland/W.Parker this morning

I'm sharing the information in case somebody out there needs it.
Between 10:20 - 10:30am on Tuesday September 24th I saw a white truck with LSU Ag Center sticker on the side made a right turn from Highland to W.Parker and knocked a pedestrian who was just waiting to cross off the ground. The truck had a trailer attached loaded with something that looked like an airboat to me. The lady fell on the ground, then she got up but fell right back. It seemed to me like the truck took too narrow of a turn and the trailer hit the pedestrian.
I saw somebody stopped by to check on her and looked like she was not seriously injured. The truck did not care to stop. I saw it accelerated away and made a turn on Janet Ave.
Dear the lady who got knocked off, wherever you are now, I hope you are okay. Sorry I could not stop to check on you this morning.

The truck might not of known they hit someone especially if they are hauling a trailer

Definitely the best way to approach a hit and run. Don't stop to check on pedestrian, post about it on message board

Nah they normally park the boat and trailer behind a building on tower and highland I believe. The back side runs up against a hill that is right next to Nicholson ext

It's either parked at the Oceanography building in the back boat lot, or it is parked behind the RNR building in the shed off of Parker.
There are only a few professors who use airboats on an everyday basis...
A couple in RNR and a couple in Oceanography.
