I Truly Do Not Understand The Entire "Being Offended" Mindset

I am one of over 300 million people in this county. I know that I am better than 90% of the population. My family and I provide more to this country than at least 80% of the population. I'm still not important. Nobody cares what I think, and I do not want them to do so.
There is nothing you could tell me or show me that would truly "offend" me. Would it maybe irritate/piss me off for a short time? Sure, but to whine and complain that I'm "offended" never enters my mind. It's nothing but words and sights. We're here for at most 100 years. Why spend so much time being angry at the world? How do people live this way? There is too much life to enjoy to bitch and moan because the world won't cater to my skewed views.
Enlighten me as to how someone is "offended", OT.

In the form of taxes, jobs, etc., I do not think that is exactly a huge statement. Such a large portion of this population is largely useless.

I've been trying to fall asleep for the past hour and this exact thought was going through my mind as well. Ive come to realize theres no hope for those people that truly want to be miserable.
Go about your daily activities and just help out the people that appreciate it. Please and thank yous go a long way. Much better than the bullshite spewing on the news and facebook.

There's a reason you are bracketed in certain tax ranges. I don't know the exact stat but if you make more than 75k, I would like to think you're i the top 20% of America. I'm sure someone can research and post it.
