Supposed to come to Kenner from California. Somehow it's in Michigan...
So yeah. that's great. Customer is busting my balls about it. I bought it on the fifth, I expected it by Friday. Seller dragged feet and waited two days and now it's in the whole wrong part of the country.
It's BS.
Shipper swears he shipped it to 70065.

Sorry for your loss. I recently had to ship a smoke detector for warranty replacement. USPS Priority Mail was under $6, while UPS ground was slower and over $12. (Seriously!) I had my replacement back within a week, all USPS. That is my typical experience over many years.

Anything you want me to say to these guys once I get to Allen Park?

I only ship USPS. I prefer them.. They are the best priced and usually the fastest.
I bought this part from a software that allows tech shops to check others inventories. I shipped a part to California on Monday and it's going for deliver tomorrow. This one was shipped to me last week and it's in limbo. No updates for a couple of days.

That tends to happen "knighting" for government agencies. You basically "knighted" for the DMV.

It's cool, My Mom's a district manager. I have her looking for it.

The post office would turn a profit if they weren't forced to prefund the retirement packages like they do, that's what hurts them.
They are actually the only government entity that is mostly self sufficient. The shortfalls are due to restrictions put on them by congress.
I still prefer them to Big Brown and FedEx.

If it got to a local post office like that, my guess is the zip code is wrong on it.

So you are saying Congress puts restrictions on them and not FED EX or Big Brown? Maybe they would lose less money if they didn't sponsor biking teams. Just saying.

That's right by DTW. Use some of Golfer's DL miles and fly non stop MSY-DTW and back and go get it.

USPS blows arse. Shipped a package from Dallas to baton rouge, took 6 days to get to fort worth. And to top it off, when the box finally arrived it was empty.

My mom sent a cashiers check for thousands to me by priority 2 day mail and it got to BR and stayed there over a month without moving (obviously lost there). Not one fruck was given by the employees there. All I got was BS and the runaround.
I was told that the "2 day" in their 2 day priority shipping was only an "estimate" not a guarantee.
Had to wait cancel the check and reship (after waiting 2 weeks in vain).
Original check showed up a month later with no explanation. I have little faith in them.

they no longer sponsor banking teams and since they are not a private company, YES congress can put restrictions on them that no other shipper has to deal with. (re prefunding retirement accounts)

My info I got back is. "Most likely it was on a conveyor and a belt was out of alignment or the scanner read the zipcode wrong and sent it to the Michigan main PnDC rather than a Southwest district PnDC, package has been placed on trace and hold. Will locate and make sure it gets to (you)"

I guess this a good example of the theory that government can't compete with private industry in any business. They never sponsored banking teams BTW. Congress did that in October 2008.

I returned something I bought on Amazon that showed up different than advertised via usps. After showing "in transit" to California for a week, the status changed to "unknown". Seriously. I called, they lost it. Three months later, a refund showed up in my account. They found it and delivered it, and the seller was nice enough to honor my refund because of the issue.
The only issues I've ever had shipping stuff have been usps.
