This is the only toy that has survived the 2 years of my dog:

Everything else (including 2 dog beds) has ended up like this:

Black lab with I guess a mouth like a bear or something
quote:

Have you tried the black kong toys?
Once he gets a little chunk off, it's all downhill from there. He exposes the casting flaws quickly

Eta: A couple of minutes after he got the fire hose for proof. The rabbit/bear hybrid thing next to it isn't his, so he won't touch it

My dog has a shark from that same brand and it's held up for 6 months so far. There's basically no stuffing left, but he still plays with it all the time

I got my lab one of those huge cow femurs at petco. The ends were gone in about 10 mins but the straight part is tough as shite and has lasted two weeks so far. Other than that, you're screwed, cause everything else has ended up in a dustpan.

Nylabones work with my mutt. Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for.

Every other item I've gotten from that brand has been ripped apart and stuffing removed, but the ultimate bone hasn't met that fate yet and its been over a year.

Chewed one of those and a couple of the red ones already.

Nylabones
He can go through them, and there is that little plastic shite all over the place covered with random blood from his gums

Maybe I can give him a baseball bat or something. Trying to think outside the box here. All of the typical toys have been decimated

I got my mom's Standard Poodle the octopus from that brand for Christmas. He tore it open and completely destroyed it within less than 5 minutes. I actually brought it back to PetCo and told them about it and they gave me my money back!

Serious about the big beef bone. He'll destroy the ends but there wont be pieces everywhere because he'll eat that shite. I was having the exact same problem but for 10 bucks it has lasted two weeks and doesn't show any signs of being done.

Bowling ball, black Kong toys, 1" pvc pipe cut into 18" or so lengths. He may eventually destroy the pvc, but it should last a good while and it's cheap. If he shreds toys I'm not sure I understand why you would give him anything with stuffing in it.

I'll echo the opinion that the black Kong toys are tough. My dog also loves, and has yet to destroy, the Hurley by west paw design. Same with his bed by the same company.

This is what I do too. Im in the same boat as the OP. I have just realized that I need to budget 50 bucks a month in raw hide.
