Estates, wills and trust is the practice area.

Baton Rouge or New Orleans is where I need to meet with someone.

Anyone who could give you positive or negative reviews is dead.

Ronald Stutes, been in the business longer than I have been alive. Handled the estate of my grandfather and we all loved him.

She's in Louisiana, not Mississippi.

There will be more involved than who gets the new outhouse or Granny's last set of teeth.

Good luck in 2L.

Yeah, can't help out if it is a LA question. If you have a federal issue then I can help.

Thread hijack. MS, quick question: is it normally better to have a tax LLM or a trusts and estates LLM for practicing T&E?

Actually most of the case law on the rule of perpetuity states that the only people that know the rule are fresh out of law school because they are preparing for the BAR. The rule is that complicated.

I have an LLM in Tax with a certificate in T&E. I think this combo works best especially if you deal with high net worth clients. Usually, those clients have business succession issues so it helps to have some knowledge in Pship and Corp tax.
