anyone know of any good bars near downtown that are saints friendly?

I'm not to concerned about tonight's game, however I'll be in town off and on through football season, so I would like to find a spot where I can count on the games always being on.

TIA

I've been to Big Woodrow's before for a Saints game and I had a good time, they seem to always have a big saints watch party there. The food was awful though.

Anywhere relatively close to the downtown midtown area.

Not downtown, but if you want to go out to Katy, go to Orleans Seafood Kitchen. Watched a bunch of games there when I lived out there, including the 09 season NFC Championship. Saw about 30 grown men crying like babies (including me of course) in there when Hartley hit it. Place went from pin drop quiet to insane in the time it took to make the kick. Owner stayed open till 2 am and we sat there and drank all night.

Good times. Stay away from the Red Beans.

The Boot in the Heights. It's on 20th St I think. Or 19th. I can't remember. Cool spot. Good food/beer.

Pub Fiction is going to be closest to what you're looking for. They have the BWW setup with TVs labeled for different games, but have a younger crowd and do brunch and beer specials rather than wings and overpriced lite beers.

I used to catch them at Boudreaux's on the north side occasionally, but I think they have locations closer to where you will be
