I love sleeping in soft hotel beds as much as the next but then my back feels it if doing it for too many days. The bed we have now is nice and has a 3" gel memory topper but I just don't find it all that comfortable. I had Tempur-pedic before and loved it but she won't like something that firm.

Anyone have a similar situation? I've seen those beds that are basically 2 mattresses and you can incline them separately so maybe that's what I need.

Let me know the best bed out there that's worked for you. TIA

Have you never watched tv before? Like every other commercial is about some bed where one side is soft and the other firm.

How much money do you make? Calculate the cost of buying a mattress and fixing your back, then compare it to the cost of divorcing your wife and giving her half your stuff. Make a decision based on the difference

Ok thanks, I will look into those. Labor Day sales and all... I just don't want to go into a store and get sold I just want to go try some beds, so if I have info beforehand I can go check on my own.

ETA: and I don't blame my wife, I love soft beds too just no good for the back. Just need to find a way for us both to be comfortable.

Get a firm mattress and then a soft twin topper for her.

If you were in BR..

Wholesale Mattress is the place. Ask for the top of the line firm.

Bought my last two from Billy there, have not had a back problem for the last 20 years. I wont look anywhere else when I need another.

I've thought about that but then she'd be mad she can't roll onto my side

He makes them custom for you. Tell him you want the top of the line - firm. I think it is presently priced @ $1000 with the memory foam topping. You can get with out the foam top if you like, for a little less.

Need pics of your wife in order to better assist you.

Preferably lingerie pics, scantily clothed.
