Yeah, it can be tough early, you really need to build your account if you start low like with any gambling site.

Exactly. If you give me $10 now, i can triple your investment in 3 months. But if you really want to make some big bucks, give me $100 or even $1000!!!

Fanduel and draftkings is nothing more than a pyramid scheme promoted by the NFL, and apparently, UltimateHog.

This stuff happens every day on Wall Street. These fantasy sites are no more rigged than the stock market.

and you won't have any just playing casually. The site is loaded with virgins who play hundreds of rosters and make this their full time job. There are groups of men who've pooled their resources together, quit their jobs, and play multiple rosters every day on every sport imaginable.

The reason why there is so much advertising is because these companies know their time is short and they need to cash in as much as possible now.

I don't see how it's a pyramid scheme. I haven't won big and only a couple of times with golf but I blame brandin cooks not draftkings.

What does insider information mean? What possibly could they know that is that much better than us?

I had no idea it was a welfare program. I figured they started it to make a profit.

I call BS on this.

you have 28000 posts on TD and you know many people that have won millions of dollars on FD/DK. yet you never posted it on TD.com?

I mean people come on here to talk about a hot girl that moved in next door, asking what he should do.

I would think a few guys winning a million dollars on a FD/DK would be mentioned here once or twice.

I was thinking the same thing. No way that somebody in the TD community didn't ever mention a friend winning $1 mil on one of these sites. I'm calling BS.

I hate the stupid commercials...for both companies. I can't even remember which is for which company.

-1 has broseph mctool backwards hat and jersey sweating it out like his mom is on life support before we find out he wins a million. Then some other fat loser tells us "I started with 3 dollars and ended up winning 800,00. And you can too"

-The other one has that nerdy looking guy like "It's made my sundays a lot more interesting". Yeah no shite, it's an engaging activity. Anything would make sunday more interesting. Simply watching football makes sunday more interesting. If your biggest selling point is it makes the day "more interesting" then you've already lost me, because i can do about 1000 other things to make the day "more interesting".

Insider trading - "Hey company X is going to buy company Y. Lawyers finished everything today. We are under a strict NDA. It is a done deal and will be announced next week. Buy now and keep your mouth shut. Oh by the way you're now rich"

"Insider trading" at Daily Fantasy sights - Hey 85% of people are playing Aaron Rodgers at QB this week. Let's pick a different QB and pray that our QB has a good game. Let's also pray Rodgers throws 3 int's before breaking his leg." There is no guarantee our QB will play well or Rodgers will play bad. Let's get rich.

Yea seems like the same thing

You sound like a buddy I used to have. Always making good money from sports betting.

Then come to find out he had to steal from his roommates and family to pay off his gambling debts.

The part that gets me is these groups are major sponsors of the NFL. It's all over multiple post-game shows. Just seems awfully weird to have outright betting sights being a major sponsor of the league.

Apparently the guy in question had access to the percentages of the players selected. So he could either piggy back on those players or use those percentages to draft up a team based on his belief. Either way, I don't really see how this is such a huge scandal. I mean, the games still have to be played. 27.9% of the FanDuel players this past weekend took Julio Jones. He managed to get a whopping like 7 points. Meanwhile the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs scored 27 points.
