I saw no follow through by the cops. They would just hit someone once, and then move on to the next person and give the initial perp time to recover. With the help of that security guard, they should've knocked them out one by one. Focus dammit.
And what happened to tazers and mace? It was also weird it took that long for backup to arrive. Cops roll in pretty heavy around here. If one needs help, 47 are coming

Obviously you have never been in this a type of situation. They didn't have much of a chance to handcuff anyone and it's not like officers have a huge supply of cuffs.

Cops can't shoot two people fist fighting each other and any cop willing to shoot someone tangled up with another officer would/should be canned immediately for being so grossly negligent and unsafe.
I think the cops handled the situation about as well as they could have once the fists started flying.

The cop who got shot is one thing. The other ones didn't really have much opportunity for clean shots against aggressors without endangering other officers and non-aggressors.
