3 times in the last 2 weeks "I" have called myself on my phone.
I hear my phone ringing, look down, and it's my name and number calling me.
I answer and there is always 2-3 seconds of silence then the phone call ends.
Is future me trying to contact me?

no, that would be a different name/#, but I had this happen to me the other day too, probably the phone co. or the NSA doing some testing

That's really odd (if you are serious). When you dial your own number on a cell phone it pretty much always goes to voice mail or voice mail setup.....strange indeed.....

You're trying to let yourself know that you are stuck in the extra hour created by daylight savings time.
I don't know the solution but good luck.

I was at my first job and my boss was yelling at me and riding my arse for something and I was trying to make an urgent call to resolve whatever issue we were having. I guess I was so freaked out that I would dial my own number, the call would roll over to line 2, I'd get pissed when no one would answer and press line 2 only to find whoever was calling me had hung up. I did this three or four times during that maylay until I figured it out.

I was in my vehicle driving through my 'hood last week and saw something that I thought our local cops should know about, so I called and stayed on the line and after a couple of minutes the operator said "you're at the corner of blank and blank right?" so I guess even our little Barney Fife outfit feels they have the need for this triangulation tech

do you have you home phone number listed under you name in your address book?
Maybe it's your little girl playing with the phone at home and calling from your land line?
