Mine would not get near the squirrel trap. You don't realize how intelligent and cunning those little frickers are until you try getting rid of them. Pellet gun is the only solution. Once the babies wandered out of the house (and they looked practically full grown at that point), they were easy to pick off - like a deer in the headlights when they see you with that gun. I only got one parent though. I even closed their entry with one still in there, and the rescue mission launched by the mate was epic.
