I have moderate high blood pressure and want to keep it down to get a better rate.

So I popped a blood pressure pill last night at 9pm, another at 2am, and another at 6am.

What are the odds this is going to work? Or will I wind up dying?

You don't think the blood test will see that in your system?

I'd assume you disclosed to them your on blood pressure medication on your application, so I wouldn't think it'll matter much what your blood pressure reads.... you're rate will still be higher.

I had a very similar experience, but I used baby asprin.

It's still in underwriting 3 months later...

Holy shite. Are you monitoring your BP while you do this?

I don't believe in taking prescription pills other than as prescribed. People die that way

You should have just spiked yourself with some Mexican black tar heroin.

BP will be fine, but your liver enzymes will be all jacked up.

They want to find something. It saves them money. Their acceptable levels are also incredibly off from the norm, so any mild variation that wouldn't make your doctor blink twice will set off a price raising flag for them.
