Changed from cartons to bags in middle school. I definitely remember the assembly where they instructed we foolish children how to put the straw in without making a mess.

One of the most memorable times of my life was reaching into the cooler and pulling out the MONSTER MILK BAG. It was the size of 3 or 4 milk bags in one, as if the machine that separated them missed a few. It took some fanagling to convince the lunch lady that she should only charge me for one. Of course, as the master debater I am, she relented and I had a calcium overdose.

Had them in middle school at IMMS. They looked like breast implants, and they spilled everywhere.

I remember OJ but not milk

If you were a badass you could poke the straw thru the pouch and not pop it

You could also balance your soda can on its edge

Best was attaching the straw to the bag, then feeding the straw through the center of a hot dog weenie ...and well I'm sure you can figure out the rest girls in our class loved that one; teachers, not so much.

I went to school in the northeast, we had them. I still remember thinking how weird it was that first day they replaced the cartons. Everything about a square bag of milk is wrong.

Im 40 and we always had cartons. Never even seen a bag of milk that wasn't attached to a chick or cow.

I went to the poorest piece of shite public schools in the state, and I never saw milk in a bag. I guess we had enough welfare that we got free cartons.
