Yep. Again, I'm as red-pilled as golden nugget or rocket, but I can see where guys take it to the extreme and lose themselves in this alternate version of reality that they've created. It's not unlike most other types of indoctrination.
MGTOW, Roosh, RoK in general, TRP...there are extremes that men wade into with all of these and it's degenerative, far outweighing the positives.

that is fair from a biological perspective
but in terms of culture, it's not that true. western values still reign and a large part of that is monogamy and raising a family as a nuclear unit

At what point is he responsible for getting some help to save the marriage, too? I didn't decide to end things after a bad weekend. If he made any effort at all to get help, I would have stayed. I loved his family, and it was devastating to lose them. Until you go through years of that kind of hell, you really can't judge. I don't know anyone who divorced over petty crap like everyone on here seems to think people divorce over.
I would not want a man to stay with me & essentially become my parent if I refused to get treatment for an illness for years on end.
