Dead stop headed the Covington way. Can't see why, and a State Trooper SUV blew by us with lights and siren blaring on the shoulder. Anyone know anything what's going on?

Do any of you use Waze in baton rouge / NOLA? Y'all bitch about traffic almost daily, Waze tells you about accidents up ahead or stand still traffic, etc. Fastest routes via back no name roads. Just a tip, it may help some of you.

The last Uber driver I had in Baton Rouge had his Uber map up (which I think is based on a shitty Apple Maps api) and second mobile phone screen on his dash just for Waze.
IMO Waze is the best traffic app around right now. It alerts you to traffic and speed traps. I use it around Pittsbugh a lot and it's invaluable when I go to the bay area.
