What's preventing it from turning north just strengthening a bit? I'd say those models are too far off to actually predict a far west landfall? Conditions could change from here to there so I'd watch it just to be safe. NHC doesn't have their cone moving very far for the next 5 days so seems to be some uncertain movement there or it's going to linger around forever.

It is usually a good sign that things will be calmer in the Atlantic when the WPAC is going off like this!
And the one behind it will also go big and recurve, possibly driving the first really big cooler blast down over the Central and Southern Plains of the US.
