Advanced automation has already impacted rust belt states by requiring fewer employees in factories. Imagine what it will be like in a century when robots are able to perform manual labor tasks in construction, plant operations, and logistical services
Century? Try 1-2 decades

You read this in a Sagan book.

Advanced AI is being developed right now. It's not being developed to get to the next level of human evolution, though.
Uber has a self-driving semi truck. The truck delivered 50,000 cans of Budweiser back in October.
Tesla's "autopilot" system braked before its human driver did, when the cameras detected a wreck ahead.
Japan is working on robots to care for the elderly. Their population is aging rapidly, with fewer and fewer births each year. That article is a year old too, so the technology has probably advanced since 2015.
46 percent of Idaho jobs could be automated in the next 10 years.
Even the White House has commented on AI, automation, and the economy.

We only use a small percent of it right now.
Maybe you do, but most people use the entirety of their brain..
Even when you guys want to sound science-y you get it wrong. Sad.

We've known how to work around the limits of the birth canal since we've been writing and storing our knowledge externally in big arse libraries. I'm not sure I understand the limitations you're cheefing on.

Doctor recruitnik-
I'm sorry I came across as a backwoods inbred dumbass in assuming that the majority of people use only a small percent of their brain. I was basing my hypothesis on the current generation of fricktards.

Nevermind...
But humans are adapting with our brains. We are able to adapt, as humans, by creating new technology to give us the ability to do things we are not born able to do.

I don't think being limited in head size is the problem...

I know this is your favorite sea creature.

We will never be able to keep pace with the intelligence of the AI we are creating. We are physically limited due to the size of the pelvis.
