The Test

It compares your score to current NFL players' scores.

dont they do some kind of physical activity in conjunction with taking the test?

ETA: can't take it now, the clock continues to run for the 10 seconds it is taking to load each question. pretty bs...

Morris Claiborne got a 4 on it, and if I recall correctly getting a 10 means you're literate.

I tried it, the page loads slow after you hit submit but the timer is still going.

If those are really the questions then nobody should ever fail that thing.

It's designed for you to run out of time before finishing. Ryan Fitzpatrick has the highest score with a 48. He only answered 48 of the questions and got them all right. It's to see if you can think on the fly.

I get that. But while Ryan Fitzpatrick was taking it did his page go black, click refresh, and his time was a minute less than what it was? It was just very slow loading on my end, to the point I lost interest. I guess my score would be in the range of Vince Young with the four questions I answered.

I decided to stop at 30 once I saw the awful load time between questions. Got to 30 with about a minute left. I got 27/30. I already know the three I missed. The definition questions. Pretty hand-in-hand with my ACT. 36/35 in math/science...22/19 in english/reading

Yeah, but if I have to wait 10 seconds after answering before I can even see the next question, that isn't exactly simulating the test. If you got through all 50 questions that would be over 8 minutes of staring at a blank screen waiting to see the next question. That leaves you less than 4 minutes to answer 50 questions. That is less than 5 seconds a question. That is basically just blindly randomly clicking answers. Site sucks.

Lower scores correspond to better performance among defensive backs who actually play football in the NFL. For positions other than QB and DB, the test's predictive value is completely uncertain. It corresponds, generally, to better performance at the QB position.

That's pretty interesting. I guess you want DBs who don't over analyze the offense and make personal adjustments on the fly?

If he got a 4 taking it on that crappy website, that shows patience and not overreacting.

I was ready to slam the computer.

At least it freezes your time after you lock in. But like the original I only made it through 4 questions, this time out of boredom. I guess I need a bubble sheet and a trusty No. 2 to do this thing.

Really? It went really fast for me. I think it might have been too easy though. I got a 46.
