I didn't graduate from there either... Little brother did tho. But yes it's true. Also they graduate more African American doctors than any other college as well

Tulane is a school for East coast Jewish kids that cant get into ivy league. It has some decent programs but is as overrated as they come.

People get way too in depth about colleges, there are three kinds of colleges:
Elites
Good Colleges
Bad Colleges
That's about it. Most college courses are the same, tier to tier, honestly, and the quality of the output only has to do with the quality of the input. Simple as that.

Is in a shambles. It's the only school in the state currently on probation by the SACS. It was once a very good regional private liberal arts school, and potentially could be again with a change of leadership, a revamp of the board's oversight function or lack thereof, and eliminating the ability of individuals in the LBC heirarchy to interfere with its policies and operations. Currently, it should be at or near the bottom of any ranking. I wouldn't recommend anyone go there.

from where? their imaginary med school?? they don't "graduate" any doctors… they put more african americans INTO medical schools, i know that much… and from there it's a numbers game…
as far as the pharmacy school, every year i was there ('02-06), the pharmacy school was constantly under the threat of losing accreditation…. and it continued for ANOTHER 4 years after i graduated, as one of my friends who started as a i left, kept me informed...

You are severely underestimating Southeastern, no way should they be that far down and behind Shreveport LSU. You must be from north LA

Having the means to afford an expensive University could be construed as having access to wealth in the first place and make numbers irrelevant. Which brings me to who ever bases an education solely on income? I went to a school with program of my interest knowing full well that it would top out in the 250k range if I was lucky, not millions. I'm happy.
The rating was for Louisiana Colleges not another don't mess with Texas suck off. Vandy, Tulsa, and a few others noted.

Anyone that thinks nursing shouldnt need a degree is way off base. As a patient and a person that works in a hospital there is a huge difference between a BS degree RN and those who are not. Fricking huge. Excellent RNs have saved me more than once, and pushed MDs out of the way doing so. However, I dont begrudge non-BS Rns, there is just a huge difference in their knowledge.

Nothing could be further from the truth, did you ever try to get a particular class section because of the reputation of the professor as an excellent teacher? The same concept can be applied to entire departments or schools.
