Purchased a new vehicle 2 years ago and the manufacturer warranty expired after 1 year. Ever since about once a month, sometimes less I get calls from all area codes trying to solicit a warranty.
Ask to speak with a manager = hang up
say no = hang up
question their tactics = hang up
tell them to remove you from the call list = hang up
they dont even say goodbye which is why i know its a scam caller.
How do I get rid of these people?

Dropping your land line will eliminate 90% of nuisance calls.

Don't answer the phone. And add them to your blacklist.

Don't answer the phone.

But it wasn't somebody in your contact list.

Can't get rid of them so I just waste as much of their time as possible.

Well in my case my cell phone is also my work phone. So I have to answer any number. Most of my spam calls are vehicle warranty related.

Tell them you live in Baton Rouge and ask if the warranty covers water damage

Say some shite that will make them really uncomfortable. They chose to call you, make them regret it.

Nope. Maybe 20%.

Exactly. That's pretty much cell phone 101. I don't know how to get them to stop calling though. Maybe if they never get an answer, they'll realize they're wasting their time.

Dunno but I've been getting them for a while now and it's aggregating to say the least.

Block all numbers you don't know.

nah...most of the time it is a computer dialing, followed by a recording or an actual person if you answer. I was dumb enough to put my number on the federal do not call list....the calls have increased ever since.

I tell them my electrical system is on the blink and I have been told I need a new transmission. That usually works.
