You're snow mobile trip isn't more important than that moose's life.
And you know this how? What if the guy was part of a search and rescue team trying to find his missing child?

You people are so quick to judge this guy when you have no idea what the real circumstances were. Maybe there were other options, but you nor I will ever know.

Where else was he supposed to go? Looked like the moose had the path blocked

It's a snow mobile, it goes through snow. Doesn't always need a path. Go the F around it.

In the very beginning of the video when the driver is stopped there's a path that goes off to the left.

He could have gone that way and avoided the moose all together.

Was what he did illegal? I hope they find him and arrest him.

Maybe they've been beefing for a while. Moose has been egging his house at night. Letting the air out of his tires. Shitting on his front porch. Old man had enough.

If a person did that to you and you shot him, it is 100% legal. Why is it all of a sudden illegal if an animal does it?

Maybe I wouldn't have done what he did, but I certainly don't have any issues with it.

all I know is if I see a moose or a bear, my happy arse is turning around and GTFO. Especially if I am motorized. dont know if he had an option to turn around of if snow mobiles have reverse, but I woulda made the effort the second i saw a moose on the patn.

I agree. He displayed aggressive behavior towards the moose.

Its pretty obvious that it was he was trying to do. Consequently, with moose being territorial, that probably made it worse.

Some of these posters are making it seem like the guy was doing that in hopes the moose would attack him just so he could shoot it

I think he was trying to get it to run off, but he could have just waited. That being said, after it charged me the first time my reaction may have been similar if it came back for seconds before I could GTFO. Would definitely go back to retrieve it though
