Like I would imagine most offices are, I have 4 or 5 good friends that I socialize with regularly (drinks, tailgates, etc.). Outside of those folks, its just people that I'm friendly with until I GTFO for the day.

I'm surprisingly close with my current coworkers, I work in an office staffed primarily by under 30 year olds so it's easy for us to all get drinks after work or talk about relatable topics. Some of us have a giant group text going where we just bullshite after work. However, in my previous jobs once 5 pm hit I was fricking out of there and hated everyone

I worked with an old man for a couple of years after highschool. He went to the truckstop casino not far from my house every night.

Fast forward 10 years, that old bastard is still working the same job at 93 and still goes gamble and drink beer every night. Whenever I'm home for the holidays or a random weekend throughout the year I'll go shoot the shite with him and drink a few cold ones.

Other than that, no. I'm also one of the youngest people at my office.

There's a core group of about 10 in our office that are tight knit and meet up after work. But the full staff are still friendly with one another.

We tend to lose/gain 2-3 new people each year out of 22 fulltime employees. Chemistry in our office was a nightmare when I first began but we have done better targeting candidates that fit within our group over the last few years.

Several of my coworkers and I always smoke a blunt on lunch break and then eat together. We also all go to happy hour after work every Tuesday and Thursday

not particularly close knit, in the past I have had that. Now, most people live in different cities.

I work in a hospital but we are a very close knit group. Only 11 in the entire department and we see each other at all hours due to call ins. We are family....and lack personal boundaries.
