How terrible is Florida's governor at these crises?

I remember feeling sorry for him after the Pulse shooting because he was so outshines by both Rubio and Senator Bill Nelson. Today, more of the same. They are professionals, and Scott, unfortunately, is amateur hour. He may be great off camera, but damn.

Dude wtf do you even live here? Rick Scott has done a ton for this state. Hurricane management, created jobs, etc. Don't bash him in the Pulse incident the swat team did what they had too.

He's just not very calming, not reassuring like you'd want you executives to be. I literally know zero about him other than these 2 incidents--he may be a fantastic governor, he may be shite. I have no idea. I am just commenting on his lack of ability to inspire confidence after these shootings. I am not judging his character or his politics.

As a Florida resident, I disagree. Rick Scott has been a very effective Governor. Our state is in much better condition than most other southern. States. Just because a Senator was on hand in Palm Beach county while Scott was in Ft Meyers doesn't make him ineffective.

Nelson is also really short. We're talking maybe 5'5" or so. He's a horrible Senator.

I agree 100% with you. RS has been a legit governor. Hurricane Matthew readiness and reaction plan just confirmed this, some of the lowest unemployment in the nation, did not take that Obamacare federal money. RS is a damn strong government frick the non residents that don't see it first hand.
